Biography

Robin Harries currently serves as Managing Director* and Chief Financial Officer of trivago N.V. since April 2024. Prior to this role, he served as the Chief Sales Officer and a member of the board at 1&1 Telecommunication SE, a German telecommunications provider, from 2018 to 2024. Before joining 1&1, Robin was already with trivago from 2012 to 2018, significantly contributing to its growth. He established and managed global subsidiaries as its Managing Director, played a pivotal role in the acquisition by Expedia in 2012 and the IPO in 2016, successfully developed various APAC markets, and most recently assumed responsibility for Global Brand Marketing. Mr. Harries holds an Executive MBA from TU Munich.
